5 Elements Cycle

Cycle of Birth

FIRE >>> EARTH >>> METAL >>> WATER >>> WOOD >>> FIRE

The cycle of birth:
Fire produces Earth, Earth produces Metal, Metal produces Water, Water produces Wood, and Wood produces Fire and the cycle of birth continues...

To understand the logic of the cycle of birth:
When Wood is burned by Fire, it produces ashes (Earth). Over years, Earth produces Gold. Under extreme heat, Gold liquifies (Water). Water is essential for the growth of trees (Wood). Hence the cycle of birth.

Cycle of Destruction

FIRE >>> METAL >>> WOOD >>> EARTH >>> WATER >>> FIRE

The cycle of destruction:
Fire destroys Metal, Metal destroys Wood, Wood destroys Earth, Earth destroys Water, Water destroys Fire and the cycle of destruction continues...

To undersand the logic of the cycle of destruction:
Fire melts Metal, and Metal (axe) is hard enough to cut through Wood, Wood absorbs all nutrients from Earth, Earth absorbs Water, Water puts out Fire. Hence the cycle of destruction.
